Flashcard Settings

Once you set up your databases, your nonki flashcards will be generated automatically and will who up in your Database Decks dashboard.

If it’s your first time studying a deck, then your filter groups will be defaulted to “all”.

Configuring your deck

You’ll be able to configure your deck each time you start a session.

Card limit

Select the number of cards you want to study.

Filter groups

You can choose which cards you want to study with “Filter groups”.

Select learning mode

If you choose “All”, you can choose a setting for “Select learning mode”.

Learning modes

  • Balanced: Card are distributed evenly across all difficulty levels
  • Normal: New and hard cards are prioritized, with some easy/neutral cards added in for retention
  • Relaxed: Easy/neutral cards are prioritized, with some new/hard cards sprinkled in

*The number of cards for each difficulty within each mode will depend on the number of cards in your deck.

Font

You can choose the font size of your prompt and answer.

Column mapping

Columns here represent the columns present in your Notion database.

To swap the responses, choose “Column mapping” and select the responses you want to review.

Edit in Notion

You can open your Notion database if you need to edit information in your flashcards. Remember to refresh your page once you make your changes in Notion so they can reflect on your flashcards.
